It was a time of celebration, as Christ Embassy celebrated her motherland in grand style. The ministry organised a Praise Concert, colourful carnival float and immersive football tournament to mark the Reachout Nigeria (RON) campaign 2016 in Warri.
Every year, Nigerians celebrate their independence with lots of captivating and exhilarating activities that reflect the Nigerian culture and heritage also depicting how far the country has gone. Tales of how Nigeria survived a war that would have not just divided Nigeria but would have left a scar in the very hearts of her citizens.
Nigeria is a blessed country .Even though she has not been lucky with good leaders she has made a name for herself in Africa and the world as the Giant of Africa and one of the fastest growing economies in the world respectively.
With the many nerve wrecking crisis she has faced and is currently facing, noble people in the society have deemed it wise and profitable to instil hope and encourage Nigerians by effecting a positive change and letting them know that there is hope for tomorrow. One of them is the President and Founder of Christ embassy, Rev (Dr) Chris Oyakhilome.
Through his Reach out campaign which is now imbibed all over the world, Nigerians are given free copies of the most sought after devotional in the world, Rhapsody of Realities. The book contains deep insight into the Word of God with special prayers and scriptural guides that offer hope and profer solutions to peoples problems.
In every state, the satellite churches organise rallies, concerts and lots more to commemorate the independence day. One of the states with an outstanding display was Delta State.
Christ Embassy Warri’s ReachOut Nigeria Campaign train had a triumphal journey through the highways, streets and alleys of the city. Brethren, full of excitement and zeal, painted the city green and white with copies of the Messenger Angel, Rhapsody of Realities.
The Independence Day celebrations kicked off with a Praise Concert, where various music ministrations inspired brethren to patriotism, faith and nation-building. Members throughout the zone took to the streets in carnival floats a few days later, dressed in creative outfits, leaving no community out of the reach of the #1 daily devotional. Even the online communities were blessed with free e-copies of the Rhapsody of Realities.
The carnival float came to a stop at the Warri City Stadium, where the message of patriotism, hope and faith in God’s Word was reiterated at the finals of the ReachOut Nigeria Football Tournament. Members of the 68 participating teams from several communities received complete football kits, training materials, the Messenger Angel and Rhapsody Bibles. Players and coaches were overjoyed, expressing their gratitude to the BLW President.
The impact of this year’s ReachOut Nigeria activities has been the greatest yet, as God’s Word took centre stage in every sector of Warri.
