“And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God [to be] the Judge of quick and dead.” (Acts 10:42)
In order to live up to the principles of the doctrine of Christ, we first have to establish a relationship with God, as He embraces us all no matter how sinful we are. Being obedient to His words is the way to connect our soul with Him.
The Gospel is the good news that Christ lived an ideal life, died on the cross, and rose from the dead to satisfy God’s irate judgment on the world. Because of Jesus’ payment in full for OUR debt, it is now possible for us to receive salvation from our grievances through a living faith in Christ.
This shows how it is important for us to live under the light of the almighty to lead a victorious life.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome – a well-known Nigerian Pastor, Teacher, Divine Healer and Author – is dedicated towards preaching the Gospel to influence lives of the masses and stimulate their souls to embrace God, so they can lead a righteous life.
Some of the teachings of Pastor Chris are given below:
Avoid Desperation — Grow Your Faith in the Time of Peace!
Pastor Chris teaches: “you’ve got to learn the Word in the time of peace!”
Pastor Chris said, “In the day of crisis, it’s only what you have inside that will come out,” emphasizing the importance of storing up God’s Word in our hearts.
“You’ve got to learn the Word of God in the time of peace, when there is no trouble as yet,” he taught, also assuring the brethren that the day of trouble will surely come, but it was designed for us to win! The man of God clarified that “faith is not something you push from the mind.” “It’s in the spirit,” he explained.

Believing Through the Spirit
“You can’t build your faith on your senses; it leads to death,” Pastor Chris says.
The Integrity of God’s Word – during the Sunday service, Pastor Chris emphasized that man believes with the heart (the human spirit) and not with the mind, the brain or the senses.
Pastor Chris affirmed, “God doesn’t expect you to run your life with your senses.” Tendering the scriptures in 2Corinthians 5:7 and Romans 8:13, Pastor Chris established that there is no victory for a Christian through the flesh, and Christians should therefore walk by faith and not by sight (sensory perception).
