GYLF Youth: Making a Difference in the World Today

The Global Youth Leaders’ Forum, true to its name, is raising leaders all over the world to spread the Gospel of Christ, and fulfilling Jesus’ mandate to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to all.

As a result of the high rate of unemployment in the country of Pakistan, many widows have been left without a job or a means to cater for their children. This situation has led many of these widows to take up very strenuous jobs in order to earn a living.

Recently a member of the youth forum, Stephen Manuwar Alan decided to make a difference In the lives of widows in his country. Seeing their plight, The 22-year old took it upon himself to be an answer to their cries. This he did by procuring and distributing sewing machines to 10widows in his community. He also employed professional seamstresses to teach them how to use the machines and make their own designs.

Not only has he improved the lives of widows in his community but has also reached out to several families in his community, through frequent outreaches, where he ministers the Word of God to the people. Hundreds of people gave their hearts to Christ and are thankful to the man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, for providing a platform that catered to the needs of the poor in the nation of Pakistan.

Another exciting event took place in Philadelphia as members of the Global Youth Leaders’ Forum (GYLF) took over Philadelphia. They GYLF youths in Philadelphia have been afire ever since they discovered that their God-given purpose is to fulfil this mandate.

As a result, they chose to reach out to the young people in their region, intent on ministering to them and sharing the Word. The outreach was a glorious success, with the GYLF members going out to the parks and basketball courts to evangelise and share the Word. Through their ministrations, several youths gave their hearts to Christ and were filled with the Holy Ghost.

It was an exciting and joyous moment for those reached. Definitely, their lives will never be the same again. Glory to God.
