Rev Chris Oyakhilome has been given the mandate to reach the world with the message of Jesus Christ. This message of truth, hope, faith and love are impressed on the hearts of many that follow him and they have experienced nothing but unending joy and peace as a result of this.
One of the ways he seeks to change the world is by reaching out to the young ones of the society- the youth. The youths inclusive of teenagers and young adults are the future determinants and the only way to make tomorrow habitable for everyone is by impacting positively on the lives of youths and raising influential leaders among them, people who are ready to take on the world.
His ministry, Christ Embassy aka Believers’ LoveWorld is taking the divine presence of God to the world today and the youths have immensely taken part in receiving and spreading the message of Jesus Christ to their counterparts.
Not long ago, in preparation for International Youth Day, the Teens Church of Christ Embassy Catford, UK Virtual Zone 1, hosted an impactful outreach themed ‘the New Generation‘ with the esteemed Pastor Chuka Ibeachum.
The program held in two sessions, the first in which Pastor Chuka impressed on 200 delegates the importance of taking advantage of their days as youths. He remarked that “the most powerful group of people in the world are the youth because they have the ability to dream and they have the strength to pursue their dreams.” The young delegates also had the opportunity to ask Pastor Chuka questions, to which he provided scripture-based answers.
Throughout the event, there were inspiring and creative music, drama and dance ministrations from various individuals and groups. The Teens Church Choir also ministered in praise and worship. Over 60 first-timers were present, and 5 attendees gave their hearts Christ.
The words shared were words to build and establish a new generation who play by a different set of rules, built for a successful future, to take over nations, head large corporations and embark on great exploits for our Lord Jesus.
In Norwood, a conference was held specially for Singles. Christ Embassy Norwood, UK Zone 2, held the 2016 edition of her ‘Singles With A Purpose’ (SWAP) Conference, imparting a consciousness of their divine heritage in hundreds of attendees.
The theme of the program, ‘Fix Your Crown‘, communicated its purpose of realigning the young professionals with their divine goodly heritage. In addition to those present at the Hampton by Hilton Hotel in Croydon on Saturday, August 13, thousands more watched the event live on CeFlix. It was truly a momentous occasion, filled with stirring music and dance ministrations, testimonies, talk shows, presentations and transformative teachings.
Deaconess Sandra Ngoka discussed the importance of being a cheerful giver in the Kingdom. She emphasised that our prosperity as believers is directly connected to our giving, both financially and of our time in God’s house. “Joyful, sacrificial giving, brings promotion from [God],” she said.
The Group Pastor, Pastor Nelson Ngoka, shared passionately on ‘Goodly Heritage‘, based on the classic message by the man of God, Pastor Chris. Highlighting the role of maintaining our confession as believers, Pastor Nelson put the congregation in remembrance of their royal lineage in Christ. “Men may come with their facts to try and distort our focus, but we must not be perturbed as God’s word is our truth,” he said.
By the end of the ministration, the delegates were stirred up in their spirits, confident in the knowledge of their kingship and ready to rule and reign.
A step in the right direction, taken by Rev Chris Oyakhilome and followed by many has brought about a total transformation in the lives of youths. With divine guidance, the youths of today now play by a different set of rules with the Word of God as their manuscript.
