Youths from various cities across Ontario, Canada, travelled to participate in the life-transforming Teens’ Ministry Summer Camp 2016, tagged ‘Chosen At My Prime‘ (CAMP).
The camp commenced with an opening address from the Camp Coordinator, Sister Zoë Adesina, who admonished the youths to focus on the Holy Spirit while having fun! Camp counsellors woke the teens up every morning at 5:45AM, inculcating discipline into them. The campers participated in morning and prayer drill exercises and engaged in various physical activities to strengthen leadership skills, such as trust, initiative and teamwork.
Throughout the camp, the youths were inspired through various workshops on topics such as ‘How to Use Social Media Actively for Evangelism‘ and ‘Let Your Life Speak‘. The esteemed Pastor Siji Dara taught the campers to excel at research work, public speaking, human relations and gaining new skills. The Holy Spirit ministered specially to every camper in special gifts and refined understanding of their purpose in Christ.
Recently in Warri, Delta State Nigeria, another summer camp was organised for teenagers and it was a swell time for them. They were filled with the Holy Ghost and were also charged up for the mission to take the message of Jesus to the ends of the earth.
The youth camp , an initiative of Rev Chris Oyakhilome is widely attended by young people worldwide and each time they leave the camp refreshed, empowered and rejuvenated. The youth camp is not only channelled at equipping youths but also creates a godly environment in which they learn how to relate with their peers the right way and this helps in breeding healthy relationships among youths.
The future of Canada will definitely be secured as these young ones have been trained to impact their world for Jesus.
