Christ Embassy Organises Children’s Festival

“Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him.” (Psalm 127:3)

According to the scriptures, children are gift from the Lord. And Prov 22:6 says that if a child is properly trained and given the right instruction, he/she will grow up into an adult with high ethical and moral values and that training will forever remain with that child as well.

The ministry of Christ Embassy has taken huge strides and have made a noticeable impact in the lives of children today. With the unwavering support of Rev Chris Oyakhilome, pastors, leaders, parents and guardians have seen the need to give children access to the right information to enable them to live a successful life under the light of God.

Christ Embassy PH Zone 3 organised a Children’s Festival for kids and pre-teens that turned out to be a landmark experience for the children who participated. It was a special opportunity for the children in the Children’s Ministry to learn greater ways to express their God-given talents through various engaging activities.

Children who attended the weeklong camp activities were encouraged to meet new friends, interact with other preteens, and work in teams and to be trained in Godly principles and lifestyles. The participants participated in early morning drills, enjoyed the camp bonfire and played exciting group games. They were also encouraged to participate in workshops on subjects such as ethics, etiquette, hygiene, savings and Kingdom investment further added to their experience.

Pastor Joy Amenkhienan, the zonal director, visited the camp to teach children God’s Word. She also ministered specially to the children, imparting them with special grace and abilities.

The festival concluded with a grand graduation ceremony for preteens in LoveWorld Teens Ministry, a rewarding experience for kids, teachers and guardians alike. Prior to this, children presented entertaining music, spoken word and dance programs. They also displayed remarkable artworks in the Zonal Church auditorium that left the onlookers speechless. The extravagant carnival float of kids dressed colourfully in Bible character costumes was the sight to behold.

With a number of colourful and exciting performances and activities, the festival was such a great experience for the attendees.
