Christ Embassy Brings Clean Water and Healthcare to Masiiwa, Zimbabwe Through Rhapsody of Realities Reachout Campaign

The Rhapsody of Realities reach out campaign is an event that is done annually worldwide in various countries of the world with an aim of spreading the Word of God across nations of the globe.

Through this campaign, many countries now have the unique message of Jesus all wrapped up in the number one devotional in the world, Rhapsody of Realities.  So far the devotional is being translated into 800 languages of the world and counting.

Recently in Zimbabwe, the people of Masiiwa experienced the exceptional power of God as Rhapsody of Realities and her partners stormed the village. 2,000 souls were led to Christ as a result of the outreach and partners of this ministry arm launched some major charity projects.

ReachOut Zimbabwe (ROZIM) officially kicked off during the first weekend of September with members of Christ Embassy Zimbabwe making a 45km journey outside Harare to Masiiwa Village in Goromonzi district.

The colourful commencement was presided upon by the Zonal Pastor, Pastor Ruth Musarurwa, who declared this year’s campaign theme, ‘A Healthy Nation, A Healthy People‘. The Messenger Angel, Rhapsody of Realities, played a leading role in gathering the community of Masiiwa Village together and was distributed to over 2,000 households and families present.

Prior to the event, which also had influential community leaders present, a needs assessment exercise had been carried out by Christ Embassy Zimbabwe, which established the village’s need for access to clean water as villagers had resorted to shallow, unprotected water sources. Access to basic healthcare was also determined a challenge due to lack of nearby health facilities; villagers travel extremely long distances to seek medical attention, resulting in high maternal mortality rates among other effects.

Pastor Ruth officially handed over a borehole drilled for the community by partners during this year’s ROZIM campaign. Free medical services were also offered by personnel within the ministry, who had set up mobile clinics working in liaison with the village health workers to provide primary health care to villagers. Partners also donated health kits that included medicines, thermometers, bandages, solar powered torches and latex gloves.

On behalf of the partners, Pastor Ruth presented basic food stuff to the community, which was touched by this act of generosity. The highpoint of the occasion was the leading of more than 2,000 souls to Christ, who were proud recipients of the Rhapsody of Realities.

The smiles on the people’s faces told the complete story of the love of God extended through the man of God, Rev. (Dr.) Chris Oyakhilome and Rhapsody partners. So much can be said about the beautiful things that have happened in many countries today through Rev Chris and his ministry.

From saving homeless children and poor families to launching community projects that benefit thousands, apart from the ministry’s charitable arm, Christ Embassy is known for expressing love to everyone and of course demonstrating it through giving. Zimbabwe is just one of the many places that have been stung by BLW and will definitely not be the last!
